Meditation is not meant to be spiritual or religious, although it has aspects of each for some people. What is about is committing yourself to a regular practise where the goal is to know and understand yourself better. Learning to let go of bias and seeing things and the world clearly, openly and calming your mind.
Developing a regular meditation practice will allow you to become aware of your thoughts and feelings so that you may not only achieve peace and harmony, but to learn more about yourself and your relationship with the world around you.
Meditation is an individual experience to each person. No one two meditation practices are alike. Meditation is the art of awareness. Training your mind to be present and focused while you become aware of your thoughts and feelings. Observing them without judgement and learning to understand them.
