Your month of mindfulness

With the silly season upon us again, the stress of Christmas expectations can be overwhelming. So now more than ever It is important to take care of yourself. It is easier to get caught up in everyone else’s needs and forgetting to take care of your own.

This 30 day mindfulness challenge calendar has been designed with simple, short exercises you can do for yourself. Adopting a mindfulness practise takes time so don’t be hard on yourself if you find that you miss a day or feel like you may not be doing it right. Acknowledge that you may not have completed the day’s challenge and encourage yourself to try again tomorrow.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to practise mindfulness. It is individual to each person.

Take one day at a time and be gentle on yourself.

Your month of Mindfulness

At the end of the month, coinciding with the New Year, take a moment to reflect on your month of mindfulness, Did you learn something about yourself? Perhaps you discovered amended boundaries to make life less stressful. Or during your reflective day, you realised the things that matter most to you.

The New Year is a perfect time for new beginnings and adopting strategies and practices that work for you to achieve your true purpose in life.

    1. Thank you. That’s great to hear you will try these mindfulness activities. You can repeat the same cycle each month, however, you can also mix them up or focus on a couple that work for you. These activities are an introduction and as you work through them each month you may find some work better for you than others. Let me know how you go with your first month of mindfulness.
