Chair yoga and relaxation classes

Chair yoga is a great way to stay fit, active and social.

Relax after a busy day at work (or life) with gentle yoga exercises that have been adapted for the chair making yoga accessible for everyone. We then calm and relax the mind with a guided relaxation session to leave you feeling refreshed and ready for your busy week.

No previous yoga experience necessary. These gentle, relaxing exercises are designed to improve mental health, muscle strength, balance and flexibility.

Monday evenings 6:30-7:30pm

Guided Relaxation Exercises

Learn to recognise tension in your body with these guided relaxation exercises. You will be guided to tensing and relaxing each area of your body while learning to identify where you are holding onto stress and body tension. You will then be guided through a visualisation meditation where you will practice being in the present moment as you relax more deeply.

For optimal results, listen to these audios at night to help you drift off to a peaceful night’s slumber.

These relaxation sessions have been have designed to target specific areas of body tension such as relaxing a clenched jaw.
